I have a friend with Beretta 25 from the 1950's that he wants repaired and restored. Any recommendations in the Houston area (preferably west side)?

Reach out to Dale at Grip Reductions. If he can't do it, he'll sure have some suggestions.
His shop is on the eastern edge of Tomball...more NorthWest than west, but I've always liked his work, and he tells it like it is.

Thanks for the tip on Dale. I contacted him and he wasn't able to provide a name of someone he thought could help.
Any other suggestions?

There's a gunsmith who's shop is in Tactical Firearms' store. I am sorry but I can't vouch for his work, I've never had anything in there. Tactical Firearms is on Mason Road in Katy.
I took my Remington 1100 in to the Gunsmith in Carter's Country on I-10 in West Houston. Service was good but can't vouch for the work there either as the shotgun was sent back to Remington for the repair. Carter's Country is a reputable dealer though so I'd expect good wok from their Gunsmith.
Good Luck.

The Gander Mountain at 59 South and 99 now has an on site Gunsmith but I've never had anything in there either.
I know it's not much help in terms of references, but there's three options for you to try.

I've seen the sign many times, but didn't have a clue it was for a gunsmith...
There's a gunsmith in Pinehurst, but I know nothing about him other than his sign says master gunsmith.
