It was a 45 long colt, but is smaller due to the sequester.

The .45 Colt cartridge is a handgun cartridge dating to 1872. I think what you missed, is the ad says "44 Long colt" and Xring was not asking about the 45 LC... which is what you have now linked to, and then posted about.

Not sure about his prices, the model of the 25-06 rifle and scope were not very detailed
Depending on those details it could be well worth a grand!
