I am looking at getting this IWB holster.

I found it for 45 bucks online. Anybody have any experience with it good or bad? Its more affordable than some of the others I've looked at.

Thanks

Not specifically.

But a holster with the belt clips in front of and behind the holster will conceal better (thinner) and be more stable.

Still, many IWB holsters are of this style so they must work fairly well.

I don't have that holster but have some like it and have been happy with their performance. As far as the G&G Gold line goes, I have their belt and the quality is top notch.

grandpatim,
I agree with mike1951. I have a Fist Kydex holster built like the one in the picture. It is bulkier and not as stable as my other IWBs that have the clips infront and behind the holster.

I like my CrossBreed IWB the best. However I had to send it back and have it modified and then I worked on it some myself.

The CrossBreed is in that price range. But if you think you want one, be sure to ask for a "FULL GRIP/ COMBAT DRAW". Otherwise you will not be able to grip your gun properly when you draw, trust me. Mine is the most comfortable one I own. That is compared to: Fist K7 IWB, Hoffner Hybrid IWB, Threat Solutions UCR IWB, Uncle Mike's nylon IWB.

Good Luck, OE

They're OK

I use the same style holster for my SIG 229 but from Galco.

It works good, but it seems I have to adjust it quite often when I stand up. I am looking into getting on of these,

The guy avertised here that forum members don't have to pay shipping.

Looks like a Sparks Summer Special knock-off, as many are. Save your money and get a Sparks Watch Six (no reinforced mouth - $86.00) or a Versa Max II (reinforced mouth - $128.00). You'll be glad you did. An uncomfortable holster won't get worn nearly as much.

I bought my holster from ubgholsters and for every day carry it works
fine for me but I might have to get another one because its a cross draw
and I have been thinking about getting into IDPA and will need a
strong side one for that.
