Can yall tell me about this old revolver? It was my great grandpas that I got a few years ago, I know its not real old, the serial number starts with 1953.

Its a single action .22. the marking on the barrel say this...

MOD. F15-Cal.22 LR-FIF MIAMI, FLA

Made in Italy.

A few pics...

Its in bad shape but shoots great, I want to have it restored one day.

I know its not real old or worth alot but I don't ever plan on selling it anyway. Who made this gun and what would it be worth?

I think if you look closer it will say FIE rather than FIF. It stands for Firearms International Export which was a company from Florida that imported guns mainly of cheaper value from Spain, Italy, Pakistan and the Phillipines. Most of the .22 revolvers I have seen shot fairly well but replacement parts were nearly impossible to get. I remember buying one around 1970 and I think the price was around $30. Shoot it for fun and don't worry about restoring it.

Thanks alot, I knew it was not a valuable gun but it has sentimental value to me. It was hard to read the markings.
