Austin is the home to Tracking Point Precision Guided Firearms. These rifles use state of the art aiming technology
to assure accurate strikes on targets up to 1,000 yards away.
This company was featured on the radio the other day. I am unable to accurately describe the devices they use
to ensure the long range accuracy of these rifles.
But what I do remember is that this long range accuracy is not for those with thin wallets.
The company's least expensive rifle is $17,500; and I believe their most expensive rifle is $27,500.

I may be interested if the top end rifle system is between $10k and $15k.

I saw a demo at the NRA Annual Meeting. They're impressive rifles, and I have no doubt they will find a good supply of customers. I also have no doubt that there will be a "commercial grade" rifle in the sub 10k range soon, although I'm guessing the accuracy might be capped to 800yds or so.

I think I might be interested in another 10 or 15 ARs.

What I said is another statement of, "It is too too much expensive, please lower your cost somehow!"

BTW,
I have simpler but maybe equally "stratospherically expensive rifle system"
1) Scope/Thermal Camera interfaced to a quad-core Smartphone, think of rugged version of Galaxy 4.
2) Mount 1) on your rifle of your choice.
3) A light weight Tripod, with 2-axis motorized head, stabilized with a small gyro built-in the said smartphone.
4) Mount 1) and 2) on 3)
Operation,
A) Operator has only to confirm the "lock-on" on the thermal target, and 1) would take over to do "real-time tracking" of the target.
B) Operator would pull the bang-switch.
C) Target is now
Note, we still needs a laser-ranger finder, but that is not a big deal, said smart phone can provide weather info, Atmo pressure, a GPS and ballistic solution.
Also, daytime operation is done with digital-image, id/lock and real-time tracking.

Local TV news did a story. Scope vision looks like a video game. Story somehow turned into an anti gun segment at the end. Just anyone who passes a background check can get one.

I got to fiddle with their scopes and dummy rifles at SXSW and it is a pretty impressive platform.
