I am a member of DPC as are a few others on the forum. Nice club. The deciding factor for me was it is very close to work so i can sneek away for lunch.

There is a steel match this morning that is open to non-members. you might want to go visit and shoot the match as well. I am going to try to make it as soon as I get my honey do list from the wife and see ho much is involved. I think HighVelocity is going to be there as well.

If not, maybe we can set something up and I can take you for a shooting tour.

I'm a member out there too. There are a few threads on this site that talk about this club as well as a few others you could find with a search.

I enjoy being a member for a few reasons first is the proximity to my home makes it easy to get to, the cost is very good if you shoot regularly, and you are free to practice as you see fit as long as you obey a few saftey rules.

The matches are nice too. You can shoot a match as a guest, but the per match fee is reduced if you are a member.

I went out to see if they shot IDPA out there and found out they don't want any part of it. Sad.........I had gone out to check out a match on Saturday and was blown away by the membership fees. Honestly, it seemed like a decent range but I'll drive about the same distance to hit the range in Garland and shoot a bit cheaper.

$160 per year for unlimited shooting for you and your guests doesn't seem bad to me. It's also nice to not have to worry about when the range is open.

I agree. I was spending that in about 3 months on range fees before I joined.
