Had a really good range day today w/ 2 of our members. KBCraig is a member of Texarkana Gun Club & while I am on vacation in Bloomburg visiting Tote 9, he invited us out to shoot.
Great morning. we warmed up w/ some streight target practice. Made sure we had good conversation while reloading. Firing line time was all business.
Some contact drills. Steel plate contest. Weak hand shooting.
I have a "bitting dog" It is a boot box on a 100 ft nylon rope. One has the rope & runs making the dog charge a shooter. That moving target is tough.
Spent about 3 hr before KB had to get to work & tote & I headed back to Bloomburg.
Listen up guys & ladies. KB hits what he shoots at.
He had a Taurus UL out there & at 15 yds he was holding about a 4wide by 5tall pattern. I am impressed.
Hope you 2 had as good a time as I did.
Now Me & tote have another new friend.
Thank you KB. That was a great morning for me. Helped make my vacation.

That was a great time. I really enjoyed both the fellowship and the shooting.

Folks, if you get the chance to shoot with LT, take it. My range time has always been either completely formal (at work), or completely informal (making it up as I go). It was great to have someone set up imaginative scenarios to keep the shooting fun.

And of course, it's always a comfort to go to the range with people who are safety conscious and know what they're doing.

I'm sure we'll get together again. Tote 9 is practically in the neighborhood, by Texas standards!
