Not really looking for much response just informational, and a reminder we need to keep our eyes on the state government as well.

Certainly, if your local representation is unsatisfactory to enough people, you can certainly try this tactic. One thing to beware, I was a California resident during the recall of democrat Governor Gray Davis. Instead of getting republican Tom McClintock, a solidly conservative small government republican, we got a RINO by the name of Aaaaaanold, who despite all of his promises of fiscal rectitude, left the state more broke than he found it, and it was REALLY broke when he took over. McClintock would have been amazing. Point being, recalls can really blow up in your face if you don't have a really solid candidate with majority support to replace the person being recalled.

OTH, some people are just SO bad, that almost anybody would be better. Then a recall can be a good thing. You just have to be careful and wise about it.

I do not believe all states have recall capability.

Time to revive this thread.

Early voting on the recalls has begun and the actual election day is September 10th.

Any speculation on how the recalls turn out?

According to one of the news flashes that I've read, they will each be replaced by a Republican if their recall is successful.

I don't know about Pueblo but I thought Colorado Springs was pretty Liberal. I guess we'll see next week what the respective votes from those areas thought about the gun control legislation.

Reasonably balanced article...

Fairly high turnout for early voting, it seems...
