The son punched his father, knocking him over, the Sheriff's Department said. Witnesses said when the elder Harris fell, he hit his head hard on the pavement. He was in critical condition at last check.

According to a state attorney, Dwayne Harris had a skull fracture, a brain hemorrhage and a spinal cord injury. He was unable to breathe on his own.

Makes me sigh with sadness when I hear of sons be violent with their fathers.

The one punch thing, yeah, I do not underestimate the danger.

very sad that the son decided to turn to physical force to deal with the situation. if there was any love between the two of them, i pity his heartbreak for the rest of his life... just goes to show that a deep breath and a few seconds can really make a difference before dealing with an anger fueled situation.

One punch is sometimes all it takes when the victim hits their head. A man was just found guilty of agg. assault with a deadly weapon in Austin. It was only one punch...

That's just not possible. Everyone knows that George Zimmerman got punched and was getting his head pounded into the pavement, but was in no danger at all due to the presence of skittles.
