Question on DPS fingerprint card

When filling out my fingerprint card for Texas DPS, there is a box marked "race" and one next to it marked "ETH". I'm assuming that stands for ethnicity? I put white on the race box, but what would go in the ETH box? Also, in the section where it asks for D/L info, it asks for the number, then the type. Would I put my class there, i.e. class C?
