Well after reading several reviews between the M&P40 & Glock 22. I went this morning & bought the GLOCK 22 .40 Gen 4. Had them install Tru-Glo TFO sights.
2 boxes for Critical Defence .40
Whats good too about this decision is all my holsters fit. same dementions as my Glock 17.
OK- no more guns for quite a while now. I have my Ruger P95 My Glock 17 gen 4 & now mt Glock 22 Gen 4.
Im not going to carry it until I practice a while with it. I know the recoil is going to be more. No problem!!!
With my CHL my background check came back almost instantly!!!!
I can wait to fire this gun!!!!!!

Isn't that a 'boy band'?
Pecos, Glocks are good guns. You should be happy with the choice.

With your CHL, there should NOT have been a background check!
Where did you buy it that required you to submit to a background check?

Dury Gun Shop in SA. There wasnt a back ground check because he just took it to the register with a copy of my Dl & chl. I dont think there was a back ground check after all because come to think of it he never went to their computer. I guess he took it in the back & scanned my ID. My bad.

Glock 22 was my issued gun for years. It literally saved my life. It is a great gun!

I like the Mods in the 4th gen. especially the spring.
The gen 4 cost a little more but it is worth it to me. I like the Grip back straps they provide. I use the Beaver tail that doesnt change the grip size.
Our Sheriff Dept here has the G22 as standard issue too.

The larger magazine release on the Gen 4s is the nicest upgrade, IMO.
Congrats on the new gun.

It is tough to beat a Glock 40 for carry. Enjoy the G22.

Last night I switched the Mag release button to left handed & Installed the Beaver tail grip ext. Still waiting to shoot & test out real good before carrying. I will probably run a box or two through it this weekend. Then start carrying.

SOP in most shops for customers with a CHL. No reason to "scan the ID." Just write the information down on the 4473.
