I went to the range with my .40 Glock 22 after work tonight. First time shooting it sense I bought it. I haven't fired a .40 anything in 20 years. I was really excited. I was shooting around 3 to 4" groups constantly at 20 Yards. Recoil was very manageable for me. I was back on the target in a second!!! I was shooting 5 rounds in 10 seconds or less so. Not the best. I need lots of practice. I was shooting in the Weaver stance. I'm now carrying my new Glock 22!!!
Sorry-I'm just excited like a kid on Christmas morning! :fire

PS: Is the Weaver stance with the strong arm leg slightly back & both legs slightly bent? Sort of an aggressive stance?

I think Ill stick with the stock trigger for now. I like the way it resets. :coolgleamA:

My glock is stock as well. In CA we actually had to have the heavier NY triggers on them. It really didn't effect the shooting.

Have you learned the glock trick for faster repeat shots? It takes practice, but after a while it is second nature. You fired, and as the trigger is released you hear something reengage. That means it's ready to shoot and you don't have to fully let the trigger out.

Thanks for this advice. I'm going to practice that. I did here that, but I have to practice & not let my finger release all the was.

Also AndyC thanks for the weaver stance description. That's my favorite stance. :thumbs2:
