Glad this turned out okay. 6 Criminals banding together to hit a Denny's is disturbing. One never knows where, when or how many I guess. I never carry spare mags on my person unless I'm wearing a shoulder rig and always believed 1+8 would be enough. I'm going to have to think about this one...

Seems like there may be more to this story.

Stupid question, but who pays for the damages to the property from all the bullets that missed? Shooter or establishment that failed to keep a save premises?

Glad that it turned out OK - but as I used to tell my teen-aged kids, "Nothing good ever happens after midnight". (I know, I know - thanks for the advice gramps! )

My wife and I had a meal there last Sunday night. Never know when something like this is going to happen.

You mean we can't even eat breakfast at 4 AM on Denny's off of the Gulf Freeway? Is nothing sacred anymore?

I suspect any place where people gather at 4 a.m. has lots of potential for excitement.

His brother said, "He has his own record label." I'd be suspicious that those six guys didn't just show up at a random Denny's. They got away with jewelry. My guess would be the victim had a lot of bling to bring and the predators caught sight of it.
