Got pulled over for speeding.
Officer: Where are you going in such a rush?
Me: Back home to do some work (Handing him my ID and CHL)
Officer: Where is the gun
Me: One in the bag in front of you, one on my right hip, and an AR15 in the back.
Officer: (Smirks a little bit)
Officer: Slow Down, Have a nice day.
Me: I LOVE TEXAS! (As I get back on the highway)

Good stop, had to quit reading all the CA comments on the FB thread.. we often stopped normal citizens in CA that had loaded guns in their cars for protection while traveling and gave them warnings on how to legally carry the gun. (Loaded/concealed handgun was 2 misdemeanors in CA)..Now for a felon then the crime was a felony, felon in possession of a firearm. See CA did do some laws right as they did not want to make mom/pop a felon for the first offense of carrying a firearm.

I wouldn't call that "right". Maybe just less wrong. Mom & Pop carrying arms for self protection shouldn't be an offense at all, AFAIC.
