I thought there was no spoon.

So, now that the spoon trick has been made public I'm sure that it will continue to be just as effective in saving these girls as it was before.

Too bad those poor girls didn't have firearms to save themselves from psycho dads and dirty old rapists. There have been stories in the news of girls being murdered by their fathers because they shamed the family. I will never understand the mentality it would take to do that to your daughter.

And see the TSA serves a purpose afterall.

This article is based on happenings in the UK. Don't see how you got this related to TSA.

The other danger is it's gateway flatware. Spooning can lead to forking. And they have knife control in the UK.

keep in mind though that this stuff happens here too, I don't know about the whole spoon thing, but forced marriages, slavery, etc happens here too, so if nothing else it's probably something TSA needs to be aware of.
