Got a Kholster for my XDm — I don't even feel I am carrying!

Just received my new Kholster yesterday for my Sprinfield XDm 4.5" (full size). Cut off excess leather, put on a strong belt — and I don't even feel I am carrying! Not an ounce of discomfort, like I had with my previous methods as a new CHL holder. I had to remove my gun each time I was behind the wheel and put it back on when I'd arrive somewhere. With this thing I can sit, I can lie down, I can run, etc. It exceeds ALL my expectations.

I am also told that once I break it in, it will get even better. There is no need for it to get better, but I'll take it.

Now, I am ordering a Kholster for my Springfield XDs and the magazines.

I almost gave up on carrying my full size XDm this summer, but the Kholster is a game changer. With lifetime warranty, free shipping, no tax, and all of that for $39!

I am really glad I found my handgun brand and my holster brand so quickly.

I have used a Kholster to carry my M&P 45C for close to 2 years now. I often forget I have it on. :txflag:

I have tried several times to tell people that the Kholster is the best kept secret in IWB holsters, but nobody want's to listen. I guess it's because they don't look "cool".

I carry a Dan Wesson 1911 Commander (Guardian) .45 in mine every day.

I agree. And I don't want mine to look "cool". It is supposed to be concealed anyway. I want mine inconspicuous, skin tone. They offer to dye it black. People can modify them in many different ways. I think we should support a business like that. Jimmy goes out of his way for his quality, affordability and customer service, and I am telling all my friends about it. I hope his business thrives and grows. That's why I posted it here.

Big and ugly, but so comfortable, ya just don't care. I've got a couple I wear regularly. The company regularly has sales that are really a great value.

Is this the IWB or OWB you guys are talking about? I have a crossbreed super tuck, what are the differences that make it so much more comfortable?

These are IWB holsters. You can look it up on kholster.com

They are extremely comfortable. Covered with lifetime warranty, and you can make your own adjustments, cut them up into a shape you want (and they'd still be covered). You can dye them any color (they offer to dye them black for you, if you want). It takes only about a day to break the leather in, but for me it was comfortable from the very beginning - even with my 4.5" XDm. That's all I am going to buy from now on. I don't think they are ugly at all, especially, since you can cut them into any shape you want to mimic "cool looking" holsters out there that sell for over $100 and without the benefits that kholster offers.

I think, since you can cut them into any shape you want and dye them black or any other color, they are only as big and ugly as you want them to be. You can cut them and dye them to mimic any other brand, icluding $125 ones, that don't offer as much benefits. For such an excellent price with lifetime warranty that covers even modified holsters, it is great! I am never buying any other holster for my guns.

That's just my opinion...

I like the Khoster's for their full coverage of CCW with no body contact at all. In Texas weather I prefer not to gunk or sweat on my pistol.

Ran across another IWB recently http://aliengearholsters.com/index.php/home" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that have a reasonable bit of pricing and concept for multiple pistols to use same leather backing and just swapping out shell. It's similar in design to the CrossBreed design except heavier leather and Kydex for one heck of a lot less money. Have heard some good things about them, but haven't ordered one as yet. Expect I will give them a try since I'm kind of a holster addict.

Can't tell by the picture, if the handle is also covered by the leather...

If you're referring to the Alien - no it does not - it is like the CrossBreed. That "no contact" was in reference only to the Kholster design
