I know there are some who I know that are Glock Armorers, but I am looking for a S&W Armorer in the DFW area hopefully from the Forum.

If there is please PM me. I have a couple of issues to work out.

Do you require that they be S&W certified? Or are you ok with an armorer that is really familiar with S&W firearms, but not certified by them?

Wooo, I'm following this thread. I'm considering night sights/trigger work on my M&Ps.

I am needing trigger work and couple of other things. I personally do not need a certified Armorer, but I do to cause my warranty to be void.

Would a no-certified Armorer void the warranty?

Probably one of the best trigger systems out there is the Apex trigger, and installing an Apex trigger does not void your warranty on your firearm.

If you ever need warranty work in the future, one of two things can happen:
1) You can have the aftermarket parts removed and replace the factory parts back in the gun
OR
2) You can send your firearm back to S&W with the aftermarket parts in the gun, and they will simply remove/replace with factory parts, placing your aftermarket parts in the box to send back to you

If you would like to check out/test fire a couple modified S&W M&Ps or if you're interested in having work done on the trigger group and/or sights, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I'm considering ordering an APEX DCAEK soon too. Would love to test the trigger.

I have put two Apex trigger kits in my M&Ps and one in my wife's. The procedure is straight forward and requires simple common tools. If you are uncomfortable with working on the trigger system then any qualified gunsmith should be able to install it for you.

LAYGO, feel free to shoot me a PM and we can meet up somewhere and you can try it out (either dry fire, or at a range to actually test fire).

An aftermarket trigger for the M&Ps. Improves takeup/reset/"grittiness"/break/etc.
