Turnaround on the XD-S recall?

I can't get a reply from the Springfield Armory regarding the turnaround time for the XD-S upgrade. I don't know, why they call it an upgrade - it's a repair or correction. I guess "upgrade" sounds like a positive event. Rumor has it that it would take approximately 4 weeks (unconfirmed). If it is true, does it include the shipping time back and forth? Or, is it just the repair time at the SA shop? I learned about the recall on Thursday, shipped the gun on Friday; because of the holiday, it won't get there until Wednesday. This is a whole week - from the notice 'til the receipt of my gun by the SA shop.
That's my only subcompact, and it's perfect for Texas summers. Am I the only one frustrated with this? Everyone else seems to be pretty cool about it. Nothing wrong with being calm. I am not steaming mad, but I am upset. I bought the darn gun just two weeks prior to the recall. Ordered a holster, bought ammunition.
I haven't even had time to break in the holster for it.
So, I hope someone has a time frame quote from the source.
Thank you in advance.
