Modifying? My daughters room. New paint, trim, curtains, floor, and furniture.

A friend of mine was telling me that he had a chance to buy an RIA 1911 last year, but didn't because he didn't know much about them and thought it was a gimmick. He knows that there's some gang named Rock Island and thought it was some kind of joke before he looked into it.

I'm still adding accessories to my M&P 15-22. So far I have the Bushnell TRS25 RDS and Magpul MBUS along with a Magpul AFG. Added Magpul sling connects, too.

I'm still interested in getting an 1911 officer, but funds aren't here at the moment. Considering selling my p226 .357 sig for a mid-entry type officer.

I'm waiting on a muzzle brake for my HW50s. When we get home, I'm gonna' put a steel breech and an 18" barrel with muzzle brake on my Crosman 2289. :cheers2:

Alas, the budget doth limit enthusiasm. I'm saving to have a black powder proved Parker with damascene barrels relined by Teague.

The Parker is high grade and in fine condition cosmetically. Unfortunately prior owners failed maintain the bores and they are heavily pitted rendering the gun unshootable even with black powder or low brass light loads. I hate the idea of this fine old gun becoming a wallhanger, so I'm saving up my nickels and dimes so I can have a Parker with Birmingham proofs.

Mostly reloading!

Loaded 200 .452 LRN today!

I am almost out of projectiles. I need the weather to cool off so I can start casting again.

I was able to cast enough last winter to hold me through the summer.

Now working on some loads for my 300 AAC!

Refinished the "Uberti Red" on my cowboy pistols. Fairly pleased with how they turned out.

The 1860 was a little lighter than I would have liked initially, but is growing on me. 5-6 coats of Formby's Tung Oil Finish. The other two are one application of Minwax Dark Walnut. Hit them both with some Johnson Paste Wax since this pic was taken.

several projects on the go or at least on the drawing board.

the biggest one is the box of parts that will eventually become an STI 2011

Yep! I figure two more weeks it will be cool enough to fire it back up!

I have to say Andy, it has been a long time since I heard the phrase piddiling around with something. Brings back fond memories of my mother when she was alive.
