Mail Forwarding for New License?

I recently moved, and have mail forwarding. I'm assuming my CHL license will still come to my new address like any other mail, right? (I know I have to change my address with the state, but I figured it was easier to do it after the process finished than muck around with it in the middle of it)

If it was me I would update my address before they print it and save $25 but it's your money.

The post office does not forward DPS mail.
