I am going to a Concert tonight at the Lakewood Theatre in Dallas. Has anyone been here before? I'm wondering if you are allowed to carry inside?

I can't imagine why not. Just be on the lookout for a 30.06. If you don't see one, enjoy the rest of the night securely armed.

My wife and I go to the Eisemann Center in Richardson often and I have never seen a 30.06 posting there.

A while back we attended a concert with a young couple and as we left at the end of the evening the young lady gave me a hug never commented on the object she detected on my right side. I don't know what she thought it was, but she never mentioned it to me or my wife, either at the time or the many times we have seen her since then.

I wouldn't call in advance, if some low level phone answerer decides policy by telling you that guns are not allowed, even if the place is not posted you are in violation if you carry there. Of course they would have to prove that you had been told, but caller ID is almost ubiquitous these days.

A manger might meet this, but a pimply faced, 16y/o, "low level phone answerer"... probably not.

True, but you never know who you're talking to on the phone. I figure that under the circumstances it's better to do the research without putting yourself in the position to be accused of violating (b).
