How about a wrist support bracket to improve one's shooting and reduce the flip up in handguns matches?
Something like this:

Isn't this what bowlers use?
I don't know if this type support is allowed by the various rules for handgun matches. I am sure some members are up to date on that topic.

Well, SIG has a product out for people shooting an AR-style handgun. They call it a "pistol stabilizing brace":

IDPA would not let a brace like the OP be used
IDPA 8.8.4.3. Rings or straps that go around any part of the shooter’s body (finger, palm, wrist, etc.) are not allowed.
