Thinking about a G26 or a G19

So after my HTPS course I am thinking about getting a Glock. I have been looking at the G26 and the G19.
I really like the fact that I can get G19 mags with the Xgrip to make the G26 carry the same amount of rounds and it would feel pretty much the same in the hand while still giving me the ability to put in the normal mag for easier concealability.
Thoughts or opinions?
If anyone has both and goes to Best of the west shooting range in Liberty hill I would love to pickup your range fees if myself and my wife could put a couple of boxes through each of them. (Blazer brass or other non steel cased ammo only, you can keep the brass if you reload as well)

I have had both (actually a G23 and a G27). I found that I could conceal the G23 just as easily as the G27.

Was it as comfortable?

I have had both the 26 & 19 and got rid of the 26. I did not like the balance or the short grip. No problems concealing the 19.

I usually recommend the G19 over the G26. The G26 is a very small, double-stack Glock, so (to me) it feels awkward. I don't think it gives you much more concealability either. One other nice thing about the G19 is that it's "big enough" to do the work of a full-sized gun as well. I know several people that shoot IDPA with G19's with no trouble on the longer shots at all.
I have one G19 Gen4 "in stock" as well, in case you want to check it out. The interchangeable backstraps are nice in the Gen4 (and at $519, you won't find it much cheaper anywhere

)

Get it in the right spot and forget it's there.

I have both and find them easy to conceal and comfortable, I prefer the 26.

If it's going to see more range use, get the G19. If it's more to carry, get the G26. That's how I would decide. I really liked my G19, but my G27 is way easier to carry.

I have both, and both shoot fantastically, the 26 is easier for me to conceal.

If you plan on running an Xgrip, why not run a g19 instead? You get a slightly longer sight radius and can get a full combat grip on a g19 vs a g26. I carry both and love them. The g26 is easier to conceal because of the shorter grip but for me that matters because I carry owb. How do you plan on carrying?
What usually ends up happening with a lot of glock owners is you end up getting both!

And there is nothing wrong with that!

I got the 26 but now I want the 19 (have a gssf coupon to burn before it expires). I don't shoot the G26 too well it's a lil jumpy, bought the xgrip to try concealing a 19 sized grip and was able to conceal it just about the same as the 26
If I had it to do over again I would have gone with the 19 first and then added a 26 later.

Not really much of a big difference with regards to conceal carrying one vs. the other. A lot of it will come down to the holster, clothing and method of carry you choose. The G26 does carry better in appendix than the G19, but that too depends on preference and whether or not you have to sit a lot vs. standing. I'd choose the G19 for more rounds, better shooting platform and versatility.

Where in Holy Scripture is it written that for a gun to be concealable it has to be small?
I routinely carry, or have carried, a G 19, M&P full size, a 1911, an XD service, HiPower, 4" S&W Model 10 or a 4" 686. Some have gone IWB and all have gone OWB. The biggest problem I have is what is for lunch and how to keep my pants up.

The only small guns I carry are either a 2" snubby .357 or, a 2" snubby .38 for backup in a pocket holster.
Don't give up magazine capacity and sight radius to gain very little in comfort or concealibility. Carrying a gun is supposed to be comforting not comfortable.

Also added the M&P 9C to my list.
