Sounds good (for a change).
A couple of my recent renewal students (husband and wife) were back at range practicing last week. They said their renewal licenses were turned around in less than 3 weeks.

Mom's was renewal too. Should have stated that I guess.
When I renewed they took nearly the whole 60 days. That was last August.

From all of the recent reports I've read, it seems like apps are getting either a turnaround of 3-6 weeks, or right around 60 days. It seems to me that DPS has eliminated its internal bottlenecks and that the limiting factor here is the background checks from the FBI or the counties, which is why they're getting issued at right around 60 days.
That's my theory anyway.

They are doing better, a student called and told me that he had gotten his in 32 day's.

It was not a renewal.
