The customer's gun fell out of her holster and shot the cashier when it hit the floor.

Hope Lowes doesn't go 30.06.

1. Buy a modern gun from a major manufacturer with safety mechanisms such as a drop safety.
2. Keep it in a secure holster.

Very many more of these really stupid incidents and there will be more signs on stores. How would we feel it it was our loved one needlessly injured this way? Whenever anyone comes up with the idea there should be a required amount of training before citizens can carry guns around, there is a firestorm of 2A objections. We all know them. On the other hand, we have nit brains who buy a gun and don't seem to be willing to get any level of training at all on how to shoot or how to safely carry. Of course, you are more likely to be injured or die in a car crash than be shot by someone this way. It's just that the car crash will not serve as reasons to keep the rest of us from driving. Are we still so sure there should not be a mandatory pistol class for CHL students separate from the law class?
Ok, flame away. :boxing :hurry:
