Given the state's famous pro-gun climate and the fact that several other states don't outlaw campus carry, it makes no sense at all that Texas forbids it.

I can't wait to see who some people blame for this, to avoid pointing fingers at the Republican majority in Austin.

You mean campus building carry?

College campus carry bill passed the senate but never made it to the house for a vote I believe. Also Perry called 3 special sessions and never pushed it during either of the sessions.

We can carry on grounds (unless a school sponsored event happens to be taking place) and parking lots now. We are only excluded from carry in buildings or portions of buildings. Of course college sporting events, interscholastic events are off limits as well.

I have no idea about what you write. Do you disagree that we can carry on college campuses? If we want to increase our ability to carry, we should be specific AND accurate. Again, do you disagree?
