Those were the words i heard the officer sternly say to my neighbor yesterday.

I live in an apartment, and mY neighbors seem to always be arguing. The guy is always getting into it with his girlfriend and the last few times that im about to grab my phone and call the cops, they calm down so i never do.

Well, yesterday the guy was at it again, screaming at the top of his lungs about how he gets no respect and how he's just providing for his wife and child. He was screaming inside the apt, and outside as well.

I thought, "this is just too much" and was about to call PD when i hear "Put your hands on the wall sir!" then i hear " Open the door sir" and my neighbor respond with cursing.

The cop told him to put his hands on the door 2 more times when i hear a light *POP* and i thought holy heck, did someone just get a shot off? But i thought, that wasnt very loud, and as im looking out my peep hole i see my neighbor fall on his face and spasing out.

HOLY HECK! They just tazed this guy! The cop yells out "Put your hands behind your back or you'll get it again!"

And so my neighbor complies and returns to sanity saying "ok, ok im putting my hands behind my back dont taze me again, that hurts"

After a few seconds my neighbor started arguing with the cops just like you see on...well...COPS :)

"Man i didnt know you were cops thats why i didnt put my hands on the wall, i was just standing there and you taze me"

What a load of crap! This guy new absolutely they were cops, what else are three guys wearing uniforms gonna be when they show up at your door telling you to put your hands on the wall?

My town is small and everyone pretty much knows the cops round here, you especially know them if your a party animal cuz they will come to your house if anyone complains of loud parties.

Being a college town, most hate the cops round here.
I actually was happy they finally came to our complex and show'd my neighbor that you cant act like a friggin animal anytime you want and disturb a community.

He'll probably get out today and i hope he gets evicted, but if anything, i hope he learned to keep his big mouth shut and control his temper next time or he may end up getting tazed agian :)

Although most of our neighbors are the law-abiding sort, the ones next door are questionable.
I know what you mean about not knowing whether or not certain behaviors and noises warrant a call to the LEOs, but unfortunately, these types don't seem to learn quickly anyway.

Back in RI I once had some neighbors across the street that I called, "the porch bums". This was because every night, even into the cold winter months, there would be several people hanging out on their front porch drinking beer and getting drunk. As the typical evening wore on, they would tend to get louder in their shouts for "More beer!", and would sometimes argue amongst themselves.

Everyone in the neighborhood was annoyed, but most were elderly and afraid of reprisals if they did anything. I started calling the cops at 11PM (my personal cut off time) and complaining. The cops would come and make them go inside. But frequently, after the cops left they would come back out.

Then I started approaching the other neighbors encouraging them to complain as well. Instead of just me complaining, we needed to "light up the switchboard" so the cops would know it was a general nuisance.

This continued for about 6 months. I was surprised that the cops never arrested any of them, in spite of the constant complaints.

Then one day, as I was leaving for work, I saw the man and his wife arguing as one of them was loading stuff into their car. When I came home from work, my son said, "Check out the porch bums' house. They're gone."

And that was that.

I'm suprised that he told him to put his hands on the wall. Wall searches, and cuffing techniques, are pretty dangerous and are taught to just never be done for officer safety reasons these days. In anycase though I'm glad your idiot neighbor finally got taken care of.

hey! I've got a fun weekend neighbor's/cops story, too!

So Friday, me and my ol' lady are sittin' on my back porch (I live upstairs), listening to two cats go at it across a school parking lot. I live literally 75yds away from the side entrance to the local Middle School.
and by cats, I mean two felines, just a yowlin' over territory. good stuff.
well, about this time (1030 in the PM) a dozen vehicles roll up, and ~20 kids get out, radios blarin', my windows shakin', the whole bit.
the kids apparently meet up here to hang out at the middle school.
tools.
so I notify the local authoritis (ain't I a stinker??), whom come and bust up the shin dig.
it was good times.
