I am looking at buying a Red Dot, either a Eotech 517, 553, XPS2-2 or Aimpoint Pro. Or would you buy a Glock 23? Just a question

I'd buy both.

I don't have night vision to go with it so I would choose the Eotech 517. Plus I like being able to use any AA batteries I can find it in which can be had anywhere.

Aimpoint vs. Eotech is personal preference. I prefer the Eotech and between the one's you mentioned I went with the EXPS2-2. Lovin it!

As far as the Glock, that depends on how you're set with other handguns. Will it be your carry gun? Do you already have a carry gun? How much will you use the Glock versus an RDS?

Cool. With all those, if it were me, I would go for the RDS. Which one is up to you.
