What gets me is they're all outraged (or defending) the holster. Never mind the fact that as he's evidently playing "Bond," his skating partner becomes a defacto "Bond girl," and therefore not much more than a simple sex object. And the costumes the women wear in figure skating don't really offset this objectification, either.

Wish the IOC and others would have let him actually have more than an empty holster, though. As-is, James Bond remains singularly unable to possess the tools to defend his partner if a rogue hockey team attacks.

I wonder if being diagnosed with "hoplophobia" counts as a medical condition that would make one ineligible from buying a firearm or obtaining a license to carry a firearm?

Careful with the sparkly sequins. If they're in the pattern of a gun you will be put on the no-fly list and kicked out of public school.
