I had attended the 16th annual TMR at South Fork Ranch, and there was a great lineup of bands/singers.
I am out of school and wanted to attend this year's TMR, but due to the lineup, their CHL policy was a factor in my decision.
I contacted SFR, and found out that they are a 51% establishment, during their TMR events.
Due to this thread:

Did you actually see a 51% sign posted anywhere? The Southfork Club is a non-51% locaiton.
License #: N 233545
Trade Name: SOUTHFORK CLUB
Owner: SOUTHFORK CLUB
Location Address: 3700 HOGGE ROAD
PARKER , TX 750026734
County: Collin Orig. Issue Date: 10/28/1992
Status: Current Exp. Date: 10/27/2015
Wine Percent:
Location Phone No.: 9724427800
Subordinates: PE
Related To: Gun Sign: BLUE
It is possible that they let a vendor come in that gets a temporary license each time to server, but I would think that the Southfork folks would hold the license and do that themselves. Unless there is a temporary license for that address each time for >51% then they would not be a 51% venue.

I did not. I spoke with the head honcho of SFR on the phone, and he basically said no guns during TMR due to 51%, and he said he had legal signage.
I would like to go and see for myself, but that is over an hour away, and the drive is not worth it.

No, it is indoors.

Sounds to me like the guy probably didn't know what he was talking about. If you go again check out the signage.
