Who knows? Maybe we should all move to Russia.

Doesn't he live in Georgia (US state, not former USSR). ?

Good thing he didn't push the wrong button when he aimed the thing at his own face.

I suspect there was some "video magic" involved.

He's not Russian. I can see some serious "accidents" from such a contraption.

There is quite a bit more to this story than meets the YouTube eye. His video-making partner was found in a pickup truck with a single bullet hole in his head. His death is still under investigation. Has this guy (FPSRussia - FPS=First Person Shooter) got a Class III license? Even if he does, and even if, by some miracle he has the funds to purchase such things, most of what he shoots in his videos is stuff a Class III does not cover. Like working RPG 7's and modern things like M-60's. He has been raided by the ATF several times, and while to most of us that might be a badge of honor, curiously no weapons are ever found. I don't know what I think about this guy, but I do think there might be something very rotten in Denmark as they say. My opinion, as always.

Forgot this: you're exactly right. The accent is over-the-top fake Russian, and he resides in the state of Georgia.

I read that he gets almost everything loaned to him for the youtube videos since he has such a high following and hit rate. He gets ammo for free.. etc from sponsors. He did have one video that showed his personal collection that was significantly more normal (few handguns and a few long guns.. not an arsenal by any means, unless the media writes about it) then the over the top stuff in his videos.

Yep. And the quadcopter isn't real, it's CGI (look at the gun, it's not even complete "rlol").

He's just a guy making money off of Youtube, no conspiracy here. He used to do gaming videos and moved on to something more lucrative.

It was all video magic, the last 15 seconds of the video tells you why. He was a star in the ghosts cod commercial, this was an extension of that. The quadcopter gun is a special feature on the game. All advertising, cool, but not real.

I generally like his vids tho, if for no other reason to see cool weapons blowing stuff up, lol.

Right...I was reading the story on Military.com and missed the desk part. Would anyone like to take a shot at how he gets access to things like this for YouTube?

Obviously I missed the class on posting video! Found the answer about the minigun though: preexisting weapon, $400,000 to buy and $60+ per second to shoot.

Here you go, all you needed to do was remove the m. after the two slashes.
