Did your tattoo artist tell you that white is a really bad idea?

Yes, permanent...white ink
We discussed color choices-decided white would give me the look I wanted
Ronnie Hadley (dude was entertaining!)
Very pleased with how it turned out. Wanted something that would look like a shadow image on the skin like the remnants of a scar.

most say white doesnt stay bright and fades out -- im unsure myself as i have some white highlights and they have stayed good -- also i think the ink has a lot to do with it staying right -- Texas Body Art (owner Johnny / not sure on everyone else but i assume they do) uses Fusion ink which is top notch and probably the best i have seen

The white is working for me...I was looking for a more subtle image. It really isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it.

It's a horrible idea to get a tattoo in full white. Not only does it look bad (in my opinion, of course), it turns yellow after a year or so, and just looks worse. You could just burn yourself and make a scar that will look similar

White as an accent color is a different story.
