Yes! Its mine....my precious!!! LOL!

Yesterday I became the new owner of a Springfield 1911 GI.45 Champion.I'll be taking it out to the range tomorrow.Yay!

I found a Bianchi S3 Pocket Pistol IWB holster to keep my new baby in.The original price was $79 but the owner of the store said he'd sell it to me for $39 b/c I'm a very good repeat customer.I'm going back tomorrow to pick it up.

*happy dance* I'll have a new gun and new rig now.

That's a sweet gun. You'll be very happy with it.

Is it a Champion? (I ask b/c my 1911 is a Springfield Champion.)

I welcome you also to the world of 1911. They are great at the range, wonderful PD weapons, & not near as hard to carry as some think.
Good job young lady.

Ah but I was already indoctrinated into the 1911 world. My first 1911 was a Norinco that my hubby let me use. But,this is my very own 1911...mine mine mine! Ofcourse as soon as I got it home I changed out the Cocobolo wood grips for black Pachmayer grips.

I've been concealing a full size 1911 (the Norinco) but this one should be a tad easier to conceal since the Champion model has a 4" barrel rather than a 5".

I'll be picking up my new Bianchi holster today.

WOOHOO! This is turning out to be a very fine day.

I went down to Shooter's Station in Conroe (where I purchased my 1911) yesterday to buy a holster for my new beauty but they were closed for Mother's Day.So We made a second trip today to get the holster. The day I bought the gun,the holster price was $69 but the shop owner said he'd give it to me for $39.I didnt have the cash on me so I told him I'd be back for it.So we went back today. One of the owners of Shooter's Station said that since we made 2 trips trying to be a patron of his shop rather than go elsewhere and b/c I'm a regular customer there, he GAVE me the Bianchi holster for FREE...yes I said free.
