30.06 At All Public Entrances?

Just was curious, I've heard of some places posting the 30.06 sign at one main entrance, but not at other side public doors. For instance, there is a mall with a movie theater attached to the same building. The main entrance to the theater has the sign posted as you enter from the parking lot. But the back entrance from the mall side does not, nor does the mall itself. The mall side is probably more busy than the main entrance.
So if I entered thru the mall legally, then I to the theater, , What would happen in this case?

The statute only says 'conspicuously displayed'. So, basically it doesn't have to be at every entrance. Bottom line, once you know the the property is posted with a legitimate 30.06 sign, you have received notification and it is illegal for you to carry there.

If you received notification that can't be revoked by simply walking through another door.

I understand that. What if I was in the mall shopping, having never been to the place before, the decide to see a movie entering thru the unmarked door?

Until you have seen the 30.06 sign you have not been notified. Once you see the sign you must abide by it.

If you get caught you can be arrested. If you're unlucky you get to explain to a judge or jury that you didn't know there was a sign, and the finder of fact gets to decide if they believe you.

What if the DA looks at your posts on the internet that show you know the mall was posted, but you went in to see a movie through an unmarked entrance?

Don't know about the DA but I'm sure Obama and his buds are looking at the forum.

IMO, the only logical option would be to leave.

There has never been a test case. If you found yourself in the situation, you could choose to be the test case. Until it actually occurs , no one knows.
