Was looking over the latest CHL laws and maybe it never occurred to me or I missed it, but it looks like it is illegal to carry a "Chemical Dispensing Device" unless you meet certain requirements. Does mean my daughters cannot carry pepper spray? I didn't find any place in my quick look where they really define a "Chemical Dispensing Device".

Texas Penal Code 46.01

(14) "Chemical dispensing device" means a device, other than a small chemical dispenser sold commercially for personal protection, that is designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of dispensing a substance capable of causing an adverse psychological or physiological effect on a human being.
