I have the same gun but in all black G23 Gen 3. It has been a tried an true dependable partner. It has a bazillion rounds through it. I have a Lazermax guide rod sight on it for extra fun times. I picked up the barrel for a G32 here on this board for $100 so I can shoot .357 sig through it whenever I please - even uses the same mags.

As for the lead bullets I'd reccomend picking up a Lone Wolf barrel. They are standard rifling and supposedly handle leadheads best. As for the stock barrel you are never supposed to use lead bullets. My understanding is that the polygonal rifling is no good for leadheads and is prone to issues if this rule is not followed.

this is scary -- i have shot hundreds and thousands of swagged lead through several glocks have owned -- never noticed any issues with them but they were cleaned very well after every trip -- barrels look as good as first day bought them -- maybe have just gotten lucky on them so far, was told by many no problems with lead but just to clean them very good -- as said though I might have just gotten lucky so far as they werent no glock experts either

The internet. What can I cay. It's not always that valuable source of information we wish it could be.

Keep in mind that anyone shooting lead bullets and blowing up their Glock has one other thing in common: they were shooting reloads. And of course with reloads comes that one possibility that they double charged a round. People can misdiagnose issues, come to incorrect conclusions and flat out cover embarrassing tidbits of truth in some cases. There is no possible way to determine how many shooters have truly had kabooms due to lead deposits in barrels. Could be ten, could be one, could be none.

One thing for sure, for a little over a hundred bucks you can pick up a Lone Wolf barrel and be extra safe or you can make sure to de-lead your barrels every X number of rounds.

Tupperware guns barely rate as gun porn.

Throw up some pics of some 1911s and then you got something to drool over.

I don't hate glocks. Hate is such an ugly word. I just don't carry ugly handguns.

Glocks remind me of a phrase I often heard in the Navy when heading out for liberty.

Go ugly early.
