Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Received a 90% from critics. They must have seen a different movie. Not a bad movie, but really slow in the beginning. Seemed to be a set up for the next movie. Poster image with Golden Gate Bridge on fire and missing a piece must be from the next movie. Special effects with the apes are perfect.
The Worst part of the movie is the blatant anti gun message. Guns are evil, and the villain is anyone with a gun. Evil gun scenes include: In the first encounter between apes and humans one of the villains kills an ape with a handgun,(the ape is unarmed) the Ape King's baby discovers a hidden sawed off shot gun in a tool box. There is even a scene where the evil guns are beaten with rocks until they cannot operate. The evil gun message goes on an on. If the humans did not have guns the apes and humans would live in harmony, that is pretty much the movies message. Guns are to this movie what, animal testing and big greedy drug companies was to the previous Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
