How did you like Gander Mtn's prices
They make Bass Pro and Cabela's look like Walmart!

I went to the Gun Superstore they opened in Lewisville, to get some 25ACP for my little Galesi.
The ammo was HIGH but I couldn't find it anywhere else so bought one box. I looked at the USED firearms and they were almost MSRP!
Now I know why they call it "Gander" Mtn. You can Gander at em, but you can't afford em!
I'm glad to hear about the new CZ.
I have always wanted a CZ-75, but opted for a Beretta 92 instead.

I have an SP-01 Phantom. Fantastic gun, best double action trigger I've shot.

I have the Tactical, and everyone who tries it out does not want to give it back.
CZ had some frame issues with the .40 cal polymer Ramis (the sub compact), but hopefully they have moved past that for the larger pistols. If they shoot anything like a metal framed CZ it will be hard to not like.

If you think of the two models like the Glock 17/19 duo, it's a similar thing - with the P09 being the big brother to the smaller P07.

Pretty nice - it comes with removable backstraps and a very interesting thumb-safety design. Out of the box it has a decocker - but in the box it has the parts to convert the pistol to an actual cocked 'n' locked thumb-safety for Condition 1 use; neat.
The pistols look pretty unusual but feel awesome - having been around CZ75 style pistols for about 3-1/2 decades, I'm highly tempted to get one or the other.
Andy.
I have a P09 all tricked out with Cajun Gun Works after market parts.
It now has a 6lb double action and 3lb single action.
I like this gun almost as much as my SP01 shadow.

I've never fired or handled a cz pistol but i've got to say the price on the p07 and p09 is really good, was doing some quick checking and a p07 tactical model sells for about half what a comparable FN does
