Range Report - M&P 9c

About a year ago I came 'this' close to picking one up, but some unexpected expenses came up and it didn't happen. Although the actual gun purchase didn't happen, I acquired a few 17rnd mags, a 32rnd promag, and a Theis IWB holster. KInda crazy to accumulate all that stuff for no gun, but mags for the M&P line were basically unobtanium for the longest time and were just becoming available so I jumped on them. Fast forward to last week and a used one came up at a great price and now it's mine. I went to the range on Saturday and it was much more accurate and easier to shoot than my LC9. I sent 4 different types of ammo through every mag I had without a single issue. I used up a couple mags of the hornady critical defense that I've used in my LC9 and of course it cycled just fine.
I've also found that concealing the double-stacker isn't all that difficult. I have a couple of shirts that don't hide the 9c as well as the LC9, but for the most part it hasn't been a problem, even in tshirts. I definitely notice the extra weight though. The Theis holster and Wilderness Tactical 5stitch belt help hold things together, but after a few days of lugging the 9c around, the LC9 feels like a piece of paper.
Big huge thank you to Bashful here on the forum for meeting me somewhere between Dallas and Houston. I think the price I paid easily justified a quick trip down south, especially since I've been on the hunt for one of these for a while now, and the timing was right. Plus I stopped down for a Buc'ees BLT on the way home. Tasty.
About half of the head shots were a quick follow-up shot from the X without really taking aim other than point & shoot. The other half was from the last mag of JHP. All shooting occurred at 7 yards.
