The focal point for Texas firearms information and discussions

I've been hearing about it for a few months on several blogs/youtube channels. Lots of opportunities to shoot firearms and suppressors from multiple manufacturers. $59 for one day, $95 for two days (ammo included in price.) Sounds fun. If I didn't have other commitments that weekend I'd probably be there.
Since they will be shooting on a range, they probably are allowing OC. I would be cautious on that one though, you never know who is going to be around and dragging out their loaded pistol to show someone else. I have seen it happen at a range more times than I care to.anygunanywhere wrote:The event information claims to allow OC of your firearms.

That is what concerns me, one idiot in the bunch could ruin the whole thing.Keith B wrote:Since they will be shooting on a range, they probably are allowing OC. But, I'm not going.LDB415 wrote:It looks like fun and could be a bargain but I'd be concerned about all but one person there.

I just took that as them specifying that the package only included non-alcoholic drinks, but doesn't explicitly explain that alcohol wouldn't be available for purchase.Keith B wrote:Kinda doubt it http://www.texasgunfest.com/faqs/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Texsquatch wrote:I wonder if there will be alcohol sold at the event?

I don't find a TABC license for that address, so unless the food trucks had alcohol then would think not. They are idiots if they allow it there.Texsquatch wrote:I just took that as them specifying that the package only included non-alcoholic drinks, but doesn't explicitly explain that alcohol wouldn't be available for purchase.
