Anyone remember this ad by LBJ's campaign?
"Time magazine described the “Daisy” ad, which aired only once 50 years ago today, as “the most infamous, and most effective” political ad ever. A little girl appears on the screen, stoops, and picks a daisy."

Yeah, and I also remember a bumper sticker that went something like: "They said if I voted for Goldwater we'd have 100,000 troops in Vietnam. I did and they were right."

I thought BB gun too, and wondered why a BB gun ad would be political. Then I though, BB guns were mainstream then and not now, so a BB gun ad might be considered political.
Don't remember the ad, didn't click the link. Would have if it had been for a BB gun, my first rifle was a Daisy.
