Ran across this video on youtube today. I think it is smartly done and could be a blueprint for others.
"And I Carry - The Real Faces of Permit to Carry Holders in Minnesota"

Edit: video embed fixed.

Well, silly me, I followed the tool tip instructions from the tool bar.
"Enter the video ID string -- the video ID string is the part after v= in the URL."

The proper URL is this:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=8h4ZtouvCOE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If I put that between the youtube tags:

It is, and maybe the PTB can tweak the tool tip to avoid that in the future.

This is a good PR video for carry. I saw it several months ago for the 1st time. It is an excellent reminder. Thanks for posting it again.

Embedding YT videos here requires a "super-secret handshake"
Once you figure it out it's pretty easy, but it's definitely non-standard.
Don't know whether it's configurable or how hard it is to configure.
Small price to pay for this great forum.

I enjoyed the video, shows the faces of the average citizen who made a conscious decision to be able to protect themselves without any hype of being a staunch pro-2A supporter even though I am sure that they are. I would like to see one of these made for Texas which potentially could be utilized to offset what OCT has done.

Hopefully the OTC bunch may pick up a few tips on how to present themselves.
Good video, thanks.

What's funky is that the people in the video somehow isn't the image the anti-gunners think about when they think of gun-owners. But that IS the vast majority of them, AND the vast majority of carriers whether open or concealed.
I am just like the people in the video. I am an every day citizen, and I carry.

There you go, THE gun education slogan. Seriously, a series of PSAs where an ordinary Joe is standing in frame and says something like, "Hi, I'm Doctor Jones. I am a heart surgeon and I carry." Another with something like, "Hi, I am Mrs. Smith. I'm a stay at home mother of four and I carry." There could be dozens of 10-15 sec PSAs covering the gamut from Wall Street Professional (well maybe not Wall Street, but you get the drift) to the bluest blue collar workers. The older folks and women, the young and mature.
