Reminder. It is this coming weekend, Nov. 22/23. Unsure just now where DCSA table will be, but if there, come see.

City owned property, so it would be unenforceable, but it will still probably be displayed and there will probably be police there making it look like they will enforce it. They may even try. I will not be a test case if I do go.

the shows here that i have been to in Paris are not by Premier, but by another company, signs on the doors at the Civic Center saying
"No Loaded Weapons" LEO inside checking all weapons and putting zip ties on.... always put it back in my holster, never asked about a CHL though they see the holster.. I always unload and keep magazine in pocket.... signs are not 30.06 and are on standard size paper.... Civic Center is city owned... lust easier that way...

I don't see how restricting the carrying of loaded weapons is any different. They are still city owned property and even if it weren't the law makes no distinction between loaded and unloaded if it is prohibited at all. I fail to understand how such a prohibition would be enforceable. That would be like me being told by some LEO that stopped me for a traffic violation and telling me that in their city I was not allowed to carry in condition 1, but not saying anything else about my CHL at all. Or am I WAY off on this?

I don't believe this Lewisville show is in any way in a building owned or leased by the city. It is in an old furniture store space in Lakeland Plaza shopping center. And yep, most likely 30.06ed. DCSA table is about 30 feet north of ladies restroom.

Some good pricing on at least pistols and pretty consistent little line at the door today from around 10 to 4:00. Quite a few people in the isles, but no so many as to be slow moving. Cozy little show with lotsa folks admittedly just looking for a reason to get out - and procrastinate a bit longer on chores around the house.
