Hello Guys n Gals,
I am the CHL class tomorrow and the place where I am taking it has these instructions on their site.
What to do before class:
Visit the Texas Department of Public Safety
Fill out online application for a NEW CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE
Register for finger prints
Pay the application fee (This fee is paid the Texas Department of Public Safety)
Print out the receipt/ to do list (This should have a large bar code across the top.)
Download the CHL 16 (OPTIONAL)
Target practice with your handgun
I have read through some of the posts and some say don't do anything before the class. I have registered for prints, did the online application, and paid the fees.
My question do I just upload everything through DPS? I submitted my dd214 member 4 through there and was wondering is that where I uploaded the CHL-100?
