Help With Locating Used Auto Accessory

My Granddaughter turns 16 tomorrow. She is an over 4.0 gpa student(AP classes), active in the arts, and her community,
And, per her agreement with her
Mother(My Daughter)she will be allowed to "
Date" twice per month and attend school dances/activities without overt parental supervision.
She is my oldest grandchild and starting at age 8, for 4 or 5 years my most reliable partner in the field. Ride, fish, hunt, shoot, sail, she does it all with aplomb and a saucy smile and laughing eyes framed by the brightest red mop of hair you've ever seen!
I know her to be level headed and able to handle herself in situations that would have left most kids her age and even some adults befuddled. That said, I'd like to be able to provide just a little more discrete protection for her as she enters into the almost adult world.
So I determined that I would locate one of the most popular auto accessories of the early 2000's, a Trunk Monkey, Chaperone Version and have it installed in my daughter's car. Have you seen one for sale or trade? Perhaps you have one in the garage you aren't currently using? Any help would be appreciated.

I was just showing a friend the trunk monkey videos a while back and he wants the anti-theft version.

These chimpanzees are all from Detroit, not Equatorial Africa.

I feel ya Dad.
Monkeys are too high maintenance and they tend towards being unsanitary.
I suggest pepper spray.

This thread was to help dadtodabone fine an out-of-date item for his granddaughter.
Please stop hijacking a legitimate thread to post your 'stuff' that has nothing to do with this thread.

Don't know what got into Stew.....
Dadtothebone, I feel your pain. Unfortunately, the Trunk Monkey series of security devices were discontinued a few years ago, but your post has given me a business idea. As a relatively new grandfather to a baby girl who is the bestest ever, I am willing to hire myself out as a "Trunk Grampa" to literally "ride shotgun" in the back seat......at least until my granddaughter comes of dating age (when she's about 30), at which point I will be otherwise occupied.
If that helps, let me know.
PS: I do not have Ebola........... yet.........

Unlike the primate chaperone, that won't stop a girl from doing what she wants to do with a boy she likes.

Thanks all for the replies. Her Dad's been in "The Kingdom" for 7 months(8 to go) and I feel obliged to check in once in a while. It's tough being the non-judgmental, Let's get an Ice Cream, That's okay I won't tell your Mom and Dad if you won't, Grandfather I've always been. I've been warned not to invite potential escorts over for a gardening/gun cleaning/barbeque day. I can't even wear my "I got a .45 and shovel Son, ain't nobody gonna miss you." T-Shirt.

True. That takes good breeding.
