Google says that pregnancy tests and boxes of multicultural crayons can both be had for $1 each, so, assuming they administer pregnancy tests to everyone
and give everyone a new box crayons
every day, that means they're spending $73/day/person in
food. How?!? Short of going to Ruth's Chris 3x a day, I couldn't spend that much if I tried!

You can bet that $75 (or $73 after crayons and preg test) was not actually spent on a child. It paid for all those people required to manage the little darlings, donations to the Democratic party, etc.

It's just a diversion. The bulk of the money is being diverted to Area 51 alien research studies.
haven't you seen the movie Independence Day? That was really a documentary.

AndyC, I hope you are not suggesting that we send them all to Harvard.
That would really destroy the country.

Since none of that spending has any basis in the Constitution, it follows that the armed tax collectors are not agents of the true government of the United States. What you do with that information is up to you.

I have read that somewhere else. I'll have to dig that up.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that on September 9, 2014, it received documents from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) revealing that the Obama administration paid Baptist Children and Family Services (BCFS) $182,129,786 to provide “basic shelter care” to 2,400 “unaccompanied alien children” (UAC) for four months in 2014. The BCFS budget included charges for $104,215,608 for UACs at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and an additional $77,914,178 for UACs at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
The start date of BCFS’s contract was October 1, 2013, but it was signed on June 27, 2014. The project’s end date of September 30, 2016, suggests that the Obama administration anticipates that the “surge” will continue until near the end of his presidency.

I think I have to disagree with your premise here. NOTHING costs the country more than an Ivy-League "education."

I'm not sure I follow, but a regular state-school education is creeping up on 6-figures.
In terms of immigration, I'm a pragmatic.. Until we're ready to spend the billions necessary to secure the border... And that means you and I pony up from our own pockets, why not charge $5k a pop to just let them cross, register, and pay taxes? IT wouldn't change the reality of what is happening today, and our budget would be a lot better off... Let them go back home, and all of a sudden we have a profit center.
Otherwise, wait long enough without getting caught and some president will grant amnesty. You guys blame Obama, but I remember when Regan did it too...

I believe the reference is to the damage, political, social, moral, economic caused by Ivy grads, in and out of government, not the cost of tuition and books.

Here is the main problem with ALL government democrat and republican alike. You say this additional revenue woild help balance the budget but this is a flawed or false premise. The politicians would just find something else to spend it on and it would not reduce the debt one iota.
Not picking on you cb1000rider.

just expressing my

at the politicians! They fail to realize we don't have an income problem we have a spending problem!
