I recently inherited this little fella and was just wondering what kind of opinions the forum might have of it.

I've not fired it yet, but did take it down, clean and lube it. Looks like it has seldom been fired in it's 80 year life +/-.

Anyone else own one or something similar?

Nice museum piece, but I'd rather have a good knife as a backup. If you chrono it, let us know what you're seeing.

It's a Cooperism (Col. Jeff Cooper, Commentaries, Vol. 4 #14):

...Well, maybe you shouldn't be too quick to laugh, Funnybones, as others here may quickly point out that a a bullet of any size (.25 included) can make you very dead indeed....

It's an eyeball gun, stick it your assailant's eye and pull the trigger.

Given a choice I would probably make that a safe queen, just for the family history aspect, and if I really felt a need for something smaller than my .32NAA BUG, I would get a .17HM2 NAA revolver.

I'm fond of the 32cal round for a mousegun.. I find that a 380 in an extremely small package is just too much for me (I'm an old fart), and the 32cal is a nice trade-off when you simply cannot carry something larger.

The Seecamp LSW32 is the smallest pistol I've personally ever owned that is accurate (@GOMA range), reliable and offers 7 rounds of hp Silvertips or Gold Dots if needed.

Obviously, when you can, you should carry something "bigger & better", but often times circumstances (wx/wardrobe/function, etc) dictate mousegun or no gun... A mousegun is infinitely better than harsh words.

I also have a NAA Guardian (32cal) and KelTec P32 and I've found all three of my 32cal pistols to be accurate and reliable. I just prefer the smaller size of the Seecamp. I would recommend any of the three..
