I was at Tandy Leather this week and saw some Kydex there. I was trying to think of a good reason to buy some. Maybe I need a sheath for one of my Puma folding knives.

Did you buy one of their pricey all-in-one kits, or something more minimalist? Oh, and, "Luck!"

I bought their "Holster Making Kit - KYDEX™ - Standard Model - (w/Tek-Lok)" - $24.95
I added 8x12" foam and more of the hardware that comes with that kit.
That's a
lot more everyday-priced than their Master Series 24 kit at $580.

There is youtube info on making your own kydex press. Neat stuff.
I have a mkii with stainless blade and black handle, got it in in 1990 or 91.

Andy,
Veering off the road a bit, but did you finish the project replacing the scales on one of your knives?

Andy, get ahold of The Annoyed Boy. He has made a lot of Kydex knife sheaths. He might have some pointers.
