Great job by the Armed Guy. It's good to see Society taking care of each other.

We could cut everyday crime by 75% or more if the justice system was not a revolving door.

Also if folks knew others would intervene when they were doing nefarious deeds...

Thank goodness there was someone willing to still get involved. You have to wonder how often licensed holders choose not to get involved nowadays with how things are.

All good stuff, however, what I found disturbing was the language used in the article in that he
brandished his gun to end the robbery
as words have meaning and brandishing seems to imply an improper act (being new to TX my understanding is that there is no specific law regarding brandishing). To me, that article comes across as a written by an anti who reluctantly had to report that the CHL holder helped.

I was wondering the same thing (got to love the media begrudgingly admitting not all guns are bad) , although to be fair, what better wording would there be for "brandishing"? "Scared to the ground by weapon" maybe

I think that something like, "and then the upstanding citizen drew his weapon, thereby stopping the robbery" could have been a better way to go.
