Hahaha, I've always wanted to use "made" in that context. OK, anyway... I went to Brooks Brothers for some new work clothes (at the girlfriend's behest) and the man insisted that he measure me. I claimed I was a 34" waist and he said (politely) that we had better size me up "just to be sure". He had the tape around his neck and before I could make any kind of an excuse he had it around my waist. He started from the left (I carry IWB @ 4:00) and came around my front until he felt my gun. He didn't look at me, but he looked sort of "up" and paused very briefly, but then continued on. I didn't know what to say, so I just let it be. The rest of the shopping went well and it didn't come up once.

Did he think it was nothing? Did he know it was a gun and think "OK, better stay calm"? Did he know it was a gun and think, "Maybe he's liscensed"? Thoughts...?

PS: I was still a 34. Ha!

I imagine that tailors detect all manner of things from handguns to colostomy bags, and just mind their own business.

My cousin come over to our family reunion this week end and hugged me in a greeting manor her eyes got real big see looked at me and said did you get a CHL or something?

I smiled and said I got something ....she looked at me a second or two and then said are you legal?

I smiled and said yes I am legal she smiled and said good.

She works for a lawyer in Arlington so i guess she knows about that stuff she said what size is it and I said 9MM Glock.
She said good gun and nothing else was said the rest of the day.
